sdelete – Free tool provided by Sysinternals that allows you to zero out and reclaim unused disk space. Used as part of the process of converting a “Thick” provisioned disk to a “Thin” provisioned disk.

iometer – The “go to” application for testing storage performance.

loadstorm – Tool used for creating CPU and/or Memory load in a virtual machine
